Classic Homemade Hummus
This recipe is so easy to make and easy to store in your fridge. From this classic hummus you can make different versions. This is also one of my ingredients for my Couscous with Zucchini.
You can buy hummus at the supermarket, but where is the fun in that. It is also much healthier to make it yourself.
- 200gr Chickpeas (fresh or from a can)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3tbsp tahini
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- 2tbsp lemon juice
Put everything in a kitchen machine and mix the ingredients into a paste. Drizzle extra olive oil in the machine and mix once more. Put the hummus in a glass jar (weck jar) pour in the olive oil on top. You can store the Hummus for about a week and every time you take some out of the jar pour in extra olive oil so it stays fresh.
You can make all sorts of hummus if you have your base.
Soon more about hummus.
Stick around, discover and enjoy!
